Congratulations to Coach Latchford, who has been named this year’s High School Male Coach of the Year by the Philadelphia Public League Coaches Association!

During more than 15 years of coaching at Carver, Coach Latchford has made an extraordinary impact on our athletic programs. He grew Carver’s soccer program from one coed team to three teams and led the boys’ soccer team to victory in the first-ever Philadelphia Invitational Tournament.

His accomplishments also include five consecutive Philadelphia Public League Bowling Championships, six years of center championships in both boys’ and girls’ bowling, and a badminton division title last season. These achievements represent only a portion of Coach Latchford’s lasting contributions to Carver’s student-athletes and school community.
