The Brooklyn Nets signed guard E&S Alum, Tahjere McCall to a 10-day contract. McCall joins Brooklyn from the Long Island Nets. In 23 games this season, McCall has recorded averages of 10.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 25.3 minutes per game. [LINK TO ARTICLE]
Arcadia Head coach, Justin Scott (Class of 2002) coached the Arcadia’s Men’s Basketball Team to the 1st Conference Championship in school history. They will be going “dancing” in the NCAA tournament for the first time ever. Legendary E&S Basketball coach and Phys. Ed. On Saturday February 16th, Jeremy Schmeltzer, Shamiyah Boozer and Lucas Graham competed in a Moot Court Competition at the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. The competition involved Philadelphia High School students. Lucas Graham qualified for the National Competition in Washington, D.C. on April 5th.

Senior, Mattelyn “Mattie” Bullock, hit her 1000th point on Monday during the Girls Basketball Playoff win in Overtime. #12 had 25 points on the game making a career total 1010 points.
