Carver’s FTC robotics teams, the Tech Heroes and the Gear Girls, competed in Philadelphia’s FIRST Tech Challenge qualifiers on Saturday and each were awarded for their work in the STEM Community. The Tech Heroes received the Connect Award in recognition of their coordination with other teams from Philadelphia and across the globe. The Gear Girls received the Judges Award for their work to make FTC Robotics an inclusive community for LGBTQ+ students.

Both teams will compete again in the Easter Pennsylvania Qualifiers later this month!
