On Wednesday 5/18 and Thursday 5/19, the E&S Track and Field Team competed at the PIAA District XII Championships.

9th grader Jalynn Cage won the Long Jump with a huge season’s best, earning a first-place medal and punching her ticket to the State Championships.

9th grader Payton Drumwright was golden in the 400m dash with a new personal best, and was a part of the 4x400m relay team with Leneece Rincon, Rayanna Massey, and Aichata Diarra that also won first place and earned a State Championship berth.

12th grader Dillon Dwyer earned a bronze medal in the 100m dash, punching his ticket to the State Championships in the process.

Next week the Track Team will compete at the PIAA State Championship in Shippensburg, PA.
