This weekend was the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend and Carver students took to the streets as runners and volunteers! Senior Zwe Tun, sophomore Max Winarto, and Ms. Curless finished the half marathon, with Zwe and Max setting PRs. Eighth grader Sam Kanagy and Ms. Kuoch finished the Rothman 8k! An especially big shout out to Carver NHS volunteers (Yani Wu, Adittya Siyam, Christian Ricks, Andrew Lara, Sarah Alamas, Saniyah Kimber, Brianna Mobley, Tiffani Billups, Dasha Hammond, and Mimi Mai) who were up at dawn to run a much-needed water stop and pass out medals to marathon finishers!
