Philadelphia Magazine named G W Carver High School of Engineering and Science (Carver E&S) one of the Top 40 Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Philadelphia suburbs. The ranking were based upon publicly available data and additional student performance categories evaluated by Philadelphia Magazines staff.

It is worth noting that the percentage of Carver E&S students starting a two or four-year college was reported at 93%. That is above many suburban high schools and equal to the percentage at Lower Merion High School. It is also above the rate of often-touted Radnor High School.

In the City of Philadelphia, Carver E&S was third in the percentage of students going on to college. E&S ranked ahead of Central, just behind Masterman.

Congratulations to the entire Carver E&S community!
