On April 23rd, E&S hosted the citywide all-public volleyball tryouts.  Coach Dougherty nominated four E&S senior players to compete for spots on the team.  Congratulations to Moises Coronado, selected to the Honorable Mention team, Jason Guerra and Joshua Kouassi, selected as 2nd team all-public, and Steven Dao, selected as 1st team all-public.  Special congratulations to Steven Dao who was voted all-public game MVP by the league coaches. The team now heads into the 2nd half of the season looking forward to the playoffs.
