Fourteen students from Engineering and Science competed at the Carver Science Fair (Philadelphia regional competition). Eleven of these students were recognized at the awards ceremony with six placing top three in their category. These six students will be advancing to compete at the State competition on April 3rd, 2019.

Jayden Williamson (1st place Behavioral and Social Science- Advancing to DelVal)
Dia Lee & Alonzo Lawrence (1st place team project- Advancing to DelVal)
Martha Victoria (2nd place Chemistry and winner of The Office of Curriculum Award for Achievement in Math and Science- Advancing to DelVal)
Oluwadamilare Olaniyi (3rd place Mathematics- Advancing to DelVal)
Nu La (Naval Science Award and 4th place in Environmental Science)
Rania Bakhri (Naval Science Award and 4th place in Environmental Science)
Sawda Sarah (4th place Microbiology)
Aatirah Small (4th place Health and Medicine)
Winter Whitfield (4th place Health and Medicine)
