7th graders toured the Barnes collection on Monday, December 17th as part of the Artists’ Voices program.  As they looked carefully at art from Monet, Cezanne, Picasso and others, the students learned to think about decisions artists make when they create. Students were encouraged to think about ways artists break rules when they paint in new ways.  7th graders also asked great questions like, where is the art from women? And, where are the Black painters? Docents and museum staff loved Carver and asked us to come back any time. We sure will!
