On Saturday, April 21st, East Falls Tree Tenders with the assistance of four students from our National Honor Society planted 26 street trees among 13 properties in the East Falls section of Philadelphia. This effort was coordinated by science teacher, Mr. Lucci and was part of a biannual city-wide effort managed and sponsored by both the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Dept. of Parks and Recreation as part of the restoration of the urban tree canopy of Philadelphia.
