On Thursday, October 18th, the E&S Cross-Country Team competed in the Philadelphia Public League Championships. The Boys Varsity team placed second overall, narrowly missing the title. Six Varsity boys earned All-Public honors: Meless Badume, Aaron Drumwright, Kendrick Key, Andrew Drumwright, Andrew Moreland, and Thomas Gelaye. On the Girls Side, the Varsity team placed 11th in a competitive field. Congratulations to Ellen Lehman for earning All-Public honors. Next week, the E&S Cross-Country team will compete at the PIAA District XII Championships.
