After two intense days of preliminary round robin competitions and the elite 8 single elimination rounds, four teams remained to showcase their skills in front of the entire school. In Semi-Final #1, Team Fibonacci upset the undefeated Team Binary to advance to the finals. In Semi-Final #2, Team Avogadro spent much of the game down on numbers but made a comeback to defeat Team Darwin. In the Finals, Team Fibonacci was winning but Jayson and Evelyn fought back and when a ball was caught, Anthony came in to make the match three on three. It was INTENSE. One by one, the players were picked off until only one man remained on each side. Anthony was the lone player for Team Avogadro. Steven was the lone player for Team Fibonacci. Anthony made a well timed throw and Steven was hit, ending the epic match. Congrats to Team Avogadro on being the 2018 Dodgeball Champions! In the Champs vs. Staff match, the staff, a scrappy group of thirteen, upset the champions. Well done, Carver E&S Staff!!
