Recent Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate Ahmod Riddick recently shared insights from his final-semester co-op at GE Aerospace’s Avionics headquarters. After successfully navigating the L.I.F.T. Summit recruitment process, Riddick earned a spot in the prestigious Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), where he currently works on cybersecurity for embedded systems and cutting-edge research.
Riddick credits his professional success to a combination of rigorous ECE coursework and his experience working in three different university research labs. He encourages fellow students to remain persistent in their career search, recommending a strategy of year-round applications and active networking to secure high-level opportunities in the engineering field.
