There was no better way to honor seven outstanding seniors than with a commanding victory, and that’s exactly what the softball team delivered on Thursday, April 9, 2026, cruising past Masterman 17-9 in a memorable Senior Day celebration.

Before the first pitch, the team paused to recognize the seven seniors who have given so much to the program. The honorees were Dani Gil, Arielle Alanguilan, Lauryn Davis, Tyhira Bright-Bell, Mikaela Kessler, Desiray Zepp, and Nudia Reyes-Vasquez — seven players whose dedication, leadership, and heart have helped shape this team.

Once the game got underway, the squad made sure the celebration continued on the field. Ava added another home run to her impressive résumé, sending the crowd into a frenzy with yet another long ball that helped fuel the offensive explosion.

The team wasted no time taking control of the contest, ultimately pulling away for the 17-9 final. The convincing win was a fitting tribute to the seniors and a statement of just how strong this program is heading into the postseason.
