The Carver volleyball team ignited their season with a thunderous victory over arch-rival Central High School in a thrilling season opener!

The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, showcasing the dedication and skill of both teams. Carver was down 2 sets to 1 but won the last 2 for a 3-2 win.

“This win sets the tone for our season,” exclaimed Coach Dougherty. “The team displayed incredible teamwork and resilience. Beating Central is always special, and I’m incredibly proud of their performance today.  The standout player was the “mental toughness” exercises the team has been practicing that allowed them to stay focused despite being behind.

The energy from the crowd was electric, fueling the team’s determination. The Carver faithful showed up in force, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
