Wellness Day was a resounding success! Students and staff alike enjoyed a wide variety of activities designed to promote both physical and mental well-being. From friendly competition to creative expression and moments of quiet reflection, there was something for everyone. Participants tested their knowledge with trivia games like Family Feud and Jeopardy, while others enjoyed the strategic fun of classic card games and Uno. Creative spirits unleashed their talents with butterfly origami, coloring, and arts and crafts. Those looking for a physical challenge joined the Marines for an energetic dodgeball game, the Air Force for a spirited tug-of-war, or the Navy for a lively round of Red Light, Green Light. The Carver-related Kahoot provided a fun and engaging way to learn.
Beyond the games and activities, Wellness Day also fostered connection and learning. Students engaged in open dialogues about important topics like feelings and emotions around food and participated in insightful skits that explored various wellness themes. Many found inspiration in the jar of affirmations and took advantage of the free space for quiet reflection. Our dedicated Wellness Leaders were on hand throughout the day, offering guidance and support. Whether participants chose to unwind with some relaxing coloring, get their heart pumping in the gym with military physical activity, or simply enjoy the positive energy of the Spirit Squad, Wellness Day provided a valuable opportunity to prioritize well-being.
