On Saturday April 9th, the E&S Track and Field Team Competed at the Coatesville Invitational. The highlight of the meet was 9th grader Jalynn Cage breaking her own school record in the javelin!

Other notable performances included:
– Payton Drumwright running at PA State Top 25 time in the 400m dash
– Jalynn Cage running season’s best times in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles
– Joaquin Sarasti-Sandoval running a personal best time in the 800m
– Malea Williams and Malene Jenkins throwing season’s best distances in the discus and shot put
– Drew Thompson and Nasim Parker throwing season’s best distances in the discus
– Israel Fonseca, Aaron Drumwright, and Andrew Drumwright running season’s best times in the 400m dash
– Sabree Waring jumping a season’s best height in the high jump
– Israel Fonseca and Andrew Drumwright throwing season’s best distances in the javelin
– The Boys 4x100m team of Dillon Dwyer, Sabree Waring, Xavier Tall, and Steve Jackson for running a season’s best time

The E&S Track and Field team looks forward to a busy month ahead, including the Public League Relays, Father Judge Relays, Penn Relays, Henderson Invitational, Lower Merion Invitational, Philadelphia Public League Championships, and PIAA District XII Championships.
