E&S Travels to Maryland’s Eastern Shore [PHOTOS]
Carver students attended the 5th Annual Cultural Trip to Maryland’s Eastern Shore. They toured and had lunch at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and visited the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center.
Carver’s Poetry Slam Team Reaches Finals [FLYER ATTACHED]
Ms. Townsend and Volunteer Poet/Carver Alum c/o ’09, Marquis Wright-Lee are pleased to announce that Carver’s first Poetry Slam Team are advancing to the Philly Slam League’s Championship Finals on Friday, May 24th at the Kimmel Center. The competition will be from 6:30p-8:30p and is open and free to the public.
Outward Bound Returns from Five Day Expedition
Six students from Carver participated in this season’s first expedition of Philadelphia Outward Bound. They backpacked more than fifteen miles over five days, starting at Dunfield Creek and ending near Crater Lake along the New Jersey portion of the Appalachian Trail. Three Carver Volleyball Players Make All Pub! Steven Wins MVP of the All-Public Game.

Carver Middle and High School runners prepped for Broad Street running the Philly Style 8K at the demanding Belmont Plateau. New runners gained valuable race experience. State Fair Regionals: Carver Programming Team Headed to States, Logo and Digital Arts Win Silver [PHOTOS]
E&S sent three teams to the Regional Tech Fair. The Programming Team took first place and earned the a spot in the State Fair. Logo Design and and Digital Art each took second place in their divisions.
