Congratulations to Steven Young and Nia Williams who came in second place in the city wide business pitch competition on Friday. The competition is sponsored by the Philadelphia Financial Scholars and is the culminating project of the Personal Finance class.

The Girls Chess Team (Christie, Ashley and Lilly) took second place at the Philadelphia Girls Scholastic Championship. Christie won 3rd place individual.
Samir Roberts-Mouzon played great tennis at the District 12 Tournament! He played 3 matches Friday, making it to the Championship. While he didn’t win this year, we are looking forward to next year’s run to the states. As a finalist, he is the alternate player to represent us in the states as well.
