The E&S Chess Team won the Under 1000 State Championship. The team narrowly beat out Central High School (Phila), Abington (Montco) and Warwick High School (Lititz) to capture the title. Senior Jalen Wright led the way with four points. Madison Ford-McKnight won top female in the U1300 Section.
Rep. Dwight Evans has named two Philadelphia students as the winner of the Congressional App Challenge in Pennsylvania’s 3rd district. One of Carver’s CyberPatriot teams advanced this week to the next round of the CyberPatriot XII competition. Carver’s Home and School Association sponsored (3) $300 grants for extra-curricular activities. Clubs and teams were required to submit a video demonstrating why they should be awarded the grant.
