On Friday, March 3rd the E&S Indoor Track and Field Team competed at the Philadelphia Public League Championship. Congratulations to the girls team for winning the championship!! The boys team earned a strong third place after several breakout performances. Great job everyone!
he Carver Ethics Bowl Team won first place in the Philadelphia Regional Ethics Bowl Competition, edging out four Masterman teams and two Palumbo teams. Carver also took home the Judges’ Choice Award.

Ayana Anderson, Julieta Zamora, Madison Ingram and Gabrielle Stills won a Silver Medal in the 200 Medley Relay and a Bronze Medal in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Chandler Choy won a Silver Medal in the 100 Breaststroke. Congratulations on an outstanding season!

Both Chess Teams won their first round matches. The Middle School went 6-0 against GAMP and the High School Team beat Lincoln 5-2. Both teams will play Masterman next week in the Semi-Finals.
