Mission & Approach to Learning

George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science is a cutting edge, innovative, and college preparatory criteria-based school for grades 7-12 serving academically talented and motivated students interested in S.T.E.A.M. (Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) related career fields. We are committed to providing a rigorous curriculum with a focus in these areas, enriched by a sea of extra-curricular opportunities. Our goals are to prepare our students with the academic, and organizational skills for collegiate success and to empower our students with the social and leadership skills to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.
